This is probably an effect of the headset. The Plantronics I use has it’s own TTS engine so it speaks the name and or number of the person calling if it’s available. This happens as soon as the call is set up. Yours may delay and or simply open a hands free session to the phone and require you to swipe over or tun on call announce. I prefer the Plantronics method because it’s all tightly integrated and doesn’t require any use of my hands but that’s me.
