Hi Richie,

You can set up new network locations from System Preferences > Network
but you might first want to check whether there are really no
locations previously defined. What happens when you look for
"Locations" under the Apple menu (VO-M then arrow down and press "L"
to go to "Locations" and Right arrow into the Locations submenu)?
There may already be an "Automatic" location set up. In any case,
from the Locations submenu you can arrow down to "Network Preferences"
which will open up a window for the Network menu under System
Preferences. Navigate (VO-Right arrow) to "Location" and then to the
pop up button of defined locations. You can select one of the
locations and reconfigure which service (Wireless, Ethernet, etc.) it
is set to use in the Services table on the Network menu. Or, you can
press (VO-Space) the "Assist me" button and get guided through the
setup of a new location.

HTH

Cheers,

Esther
