Hi Chris,

Yes you have a few different options now with the 2016 package,

Or should we call it 365
It can be still purchased on an optical disk, dvd.
It can also be purchased as a download / installer package or you can purchase
a subscription on a month by month or year by year basis,
And or subscribe to it as an online system only which is that you have an
account and to access office you log in to the Office 365 website and access
word or excel etc via a web interface,

Note that a number of different tenants exist and with in those a multitude of
options to subscribe to.

Or if your crafty you can take out a 1 month (30 day) trial of a tenant and
then change to another email address to take out another 1 month trial and if
you have access to an email server of your own you could theoretically get away
with not paying for office 365 for sometime.

I personally pay I think it’s $15 NZ dollars per month and have office 2016 /
365 on my windows 10 and mac os sierra note books and on my iPhone and iPad
I get to install it on up to 5 devices under the one email address / account
but can also share it with 5 people as well.

I also have 2 office 365 exchange accounts for email addresses and a share
point and skype for business subscription which gives me 60 minutes per month
free and also a 1 TB One drive storage account as well.

If you wish to have a look go to www.office365.com<http://www.office365.com>
It’s a crap site but it’s full of info if you can find it.

Hope that helps.

I bought this to use with my new Mac. I believe I read somewhere that
Microsoft office is not accessible with VO. Is this true. If so, I’ll be
returning it for a refund as I haven’t opened it.

Thanks,
Lois
