Hello all,

I opened iTunes on my MacBook Pro this morning, and ever since then it
has been dinging every minute or so. By ding, I mean the sound that
it usually makes when it finishes SYNCing or downloading an update. I
have tried closing and re-opening iTunes and rebooting but it
continues to do this.

Similarly, VoiceOver on my iPad has been incessantly saying "Page 2 of
12" as it would say when you scroll to a new page on the home screen.
I experienced this when I updated IOS to version 10, but was able to
fix it by turning VO off and then back on. This time I can't seem to
fix it. It even happens when the iPad is locked. I am using an iPad
Air 2 from late 2014 and a retina MacBook Pro from late 2012. Has
anyone found a solution to either of these problems? I have to say, I
am becoming increasingly disappointed with the quality of Apple's
products as of late. If things like this keep happening, I may switch
to the Android platform. Ever since the iPhone 5 and the Maps
debacle, the company's quality control has gone down the toilet and
they have been rushing buggy products into the stores.

Thanks in advance.

Eric
