Hi David and Larry, An easier way to do this is to only have notifications turned on for inbox only or VIP emails. Go to mail preferences with command comma and make sure you're in the general button. There's an item called mail notifications and you can set it to inbox only, VIP, contacts, today, all mailboxes or any other folders that you have set up. HTH.
