Hi
You can have VueScan automatically feed its image into Finereader so
the two programs in effect work together. I wrote a little guide on
how to do this a little while back, do a search in this group for
"FineReader" and you'll find the thread "Abbyy Fine Express Problem"
which is the thread in which I replied with instructions. Setting it
up like this really takes most of the work out of the process,
especially if your scanner has function buttons as most do. Note that
the instructions I wrote are for Snow Leopard and, due to the way
VueScan tries to assign an app to open the resulting file, may not
work the same way in older versions of OS X.
