I've never thought of naming my computers or digital devices, I have been known to call them names mostly not very nice ones when things go wrong.
In this situation I can think of a number of names that would be funny but probably upset femmonists or politically correct people, I do like Marks idea of computer, Terminator would be another one, Geeves another I could see going down well in a crowded room, But one that would spark trouble with the aussies would be "Mate" A commonly used greeting or name for a friend used both in New Zealdn and Austrialia, So you'd wake your device and say "Hey Mate", Or Gid Day Mate! -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com [mailto:macvisionaries@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Dan D.
