I don’t remember the source, but a friend sent me a collection of Voiceover scripts, among which was one that does just that. With Keyboard commander on I can hit option-i and hear the currently playing track. I’ll bet someone on here knows the origin of those scripts. I believe they were written by someone well-known in the community. I’m not finding the original file they came in but I will keep looking. A search of the list might turn them up.
