Hi all,

Well, I guess this is my week for weird Apple phenomena.

Twice this week I have woken my MBA and found that I had no speech. It was
clear that the mac was running, because I could hear the motor, the volume and
brightness controls worked, and when I tried to arrow around, I heard the VO
thunk sound. But there was no way to close the current window, and get out of
whatever was going on. Turning VO off and on again did nothing. My only
option was to force shut and reboot the MBA. Anyone else seen this?
TIA,
Donna
