Thanks for the advice. The last time I installed an “All-In-One” printer/copier/scanner it was on my Vista PC; I have ABBY Fine Reader 6 installed on that PC. I guess I’ll have to get some sort of OCR software for this Mac Mini if I hope to convert scanned documents into any sort of text-based files.
