Hi Scott,
I'm not command line savvy, but I'm a fair ggood researcher and I can
follow directions. So, I have raspbian on my pi and I ssh in. Recently
the pi foundation prevented ssh server from starting with raspbian for
security reasons, but I think the raspberryvi users either found a way
around that limitation or else started distributing a legacy image which
starts the ssh server and can then be updated live to keep ssh access.
you can find the raspberryvi users at www.raspberryvi.org. They have user
guides image downloads and email lists among other things.
Enjoy,

Hi,
I’ve been thinking about trying out some raspberry pie projects including
building a small asterisk phone server on a pie. Has anyone built any
projects and has any suggestions of which kits to buy or a good starting
point? Also, how do you access the I/o on these, do you use a connected
serial and set up over terminal, use a screen of some sort, etc?
Any pointers would be most appreciated.
Thank you
