Hi so the problem is that when connecting to a SIP server the brea process needs to stay active and communicate with the server. It doesn’t fall asleep so battery drain is higher. I’ve noticed this with most SIP apps that can un in the background. Apps that run only when opened draw less but then don’t ring if the phone is locked or the app isn’t in the foreground. Bria is one of the best. The same company, counterpath makes XLite as well which is a good free client. I use this on the Mac successfully.
Good luck. > On Mar 13, 2017, at 10:05 AM, Singing Sparrow <[email protected]> wrote: > > What other Sip phone IOS apps will work with incredible PBX? > I have Bria the paid version and it seems to want to drain my Iphone 7Plus > battery quickly. > Does anyone have any other ideas as to how I can fix this? > > -- > The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries > list. > > If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if > you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or > moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself. > > Your Mac Visionaries list moderator is Mark Taylor.
