According to the VoiceOver commands summary this should
Jump from the current location to any displayed input method or auto correction
panel, and then jump back to the original location column 1 of 2

I just tried this in mail on a spelling error and it did work. It does not to
the best of my abilities work in the search results screens or in Outlook. I
remember somebody on the list complaining about VoiceOver making popping sounds
while typing into a search panel , I wonder now if vo-shift-J was the answer to
that popping sound.
But I believe there are several cases, where a suggestion pops-up visually for
the sighted person, but yet vo-shift-J does not go to the suggestion panel. In
my mind this means either the Application developer did not link the input
field sufficiently with the suggestion box or else VO-Shift-J should be more
aggressive. In any case, if we could come up with a list of places where we
think VO-shift-J should work but it does not, I could see a campaign to
proceed.

One place I find VoiceOver does especially poorly on is when Web mode is set to
navigate by group and then a web pop-up menu gets invoked that uses ARIA.
VoiceOver should be able to follow the to allow VO navigation of the new
elements on the screen without searching.

                Best wishes,

Jonathan
