You can look at the application settings I believe it is which gives you the 
option to upgrade the VM.  It will tell you whether it’s necessary or not.

Another thing to try is uninstalling vmtools and reinstalling since that’s 
where the video intercept and other support takes place.

Honestly though, something sounds out of place because you should not have chop 
with this configuration.

Another thing to do is run the reclaim space option so it packs up your VM file 
and compacts it for more efficiency.

Honestly though, I’m not sure your problem because it sounds like it should be 
working very well with the configurations you’re using.
