Hello Aleeha,
Could you explain what you mean about there being no real way to navigate in
Preview? You can read by character, word, line, sentence or paragraph, or
you can read continuously. Quick Nav doesn’t work properly, but the normal
VO commands do.
You can also go straight to a particular page using the shortcut
Cmd-Option-g and typing in the page number, followed by Return.
In the Preferences, you can tell Preview to open the document at the place
where it was last closed. The secret is to interact twice with the document.
