Any possibility that yo have more devices connected to your router than it
allows in its settings area? I used to have DHCP problems when I used wired
networking because of somebody else on the segment also sending out DHCP
responses, mind you that was a long time ago on a network that no longer
exists.
Another thing to verify is that nobody else is using your Network ID. If you
named your wireless networ My Home Network and your next door neighbor did the
same there would be a very good chance that on occasion you would run into
issues like this.
