Abbyy FineRReader may not be cheap but it works well. And its
available right now whereas if the KNFB folks decide to develop for the
Mac, it may be a long time coming.

At the moment, there are no plans to develop a Mac version of KNFB
Reader. I am aware that there is no good solution for the Mac. I have
not used FineReader. I have used docuScan, and it seems adequate,
though it has been years.
I would love to see a Mac version, but the general feeling is that
there would not be enough demand. If you have all of your Mac using
friends write to me, perhaps you could change the minds of management.

I've used KNFB on an iPhone for a while and have recently heard that
it is available for Windows 10.
Do you have any plans to release KNFB for the Mac?
I'm thinking of getting Fine Reader for the Mac, but will wait if
