Dear Apple accessibility team, I do not know if you are still actively working on the firmware for the IPhone 3gS and indeed the ipod touch but if so I have a few suggestions if I may:
1. The ability to if possible, change voices on the fly for voiceover users. For example, if one is utilizing the IPhone for example in English and one receives a foreign language text, how can one "hear" it correctly to comprehend it as we can't as on mac OSX change the voice to a french one or indeed another voice of the current language on the fly 2. A mode whereby when one turns on the IPhone it vibrates to inform the sight impaired user that the iphone and or ipod is indeed booting up. On NOkia and other smart phones one receives this vibration or indeed a musical jingle if the silent mode is not active to alert one of this fact 3. An optional page summary indicator would be ideal in safari so that if one wishes to navigate say by headers, one wouldnt need to go to the roter and find none exist as they will ahve selected to hear this fact when the page loads therefore, they will konw there are x headers so moving by this unit will work in the roter I hope you find these suggestions useful Regards, william lomas -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
