Press VO-k for keyboard help and look for the FN key. On these
keyboards you need to use some shortcuts with that key.

You want function-vo-shift-left or right. If you have physical home/end keys,
don't worry about the function key.
The main thing to do, though, is interact with the text field first. The
keystrokes you described move you in whatever you're in, be it a window,
webpage, table, etc. Far easier for text fields is to just use command-up or
down, instead of worrying about VO commands.
