I saw a couple of folks articles yesterday about first listen to the new
speaker. They were very impressed as compared with the play three, which I
suppose is the speaker to compare it with. The thing that most intrigues me
about the speaker, especially as a stereo pair, is the reputed ability to have
a really good stereo field in various places in the room. Not just one sweet
spot. If that turns out to be true, and I get through my medical crap this
year, I'm going to buy myself a pair of those and replace a big stereo system
that I love, but really is too old. And if I could get away from airport
expresses, I could easily update my Wi-Fi and we would all be happier with
better speeds throughout the house. But the medical stuff has to come first.
Nuts.
