Oh yeah I forgot about that. You were dead center in a big wild fire up there in the great north. I used to live in the Bay Area that had the same problem. Saw fire near the house one to many times.:)
As for the processor issue, I’ll dunk the whole thing in water. Ok not literally but depending on how that processor is mounted I would put a water cooler right on the chip. I used to have a water cooled PC back in the day when building your own PC was the thing to do. Something like that should work. In reality, if you can leave the cover off a nice fat heat sync should do the trick. Still wouldn’t it be funny if the iMac and iMac pro were the same chassis and they just snapped different, highly over priced components in when you ordered.
