Thanks. I will look at this after my shipping today. I probably
should have said I want to stream from a site that has no app on the
Apple TV 3rd. The Mac is upstairs, Apple TV is downstairs.

Yes. At least it does for me. There used to be a setting in iTunes Prefs that said
something to the effect of "Allow Remote Control from Other Apps", but I can't
find it anymore. Maybe it's just unnecessary now. Anyway, I can AirPlay to my Apple TV
2 or 4 and use their remote to change the song. Although, most of the time I just play
everything from the Apple TV as they have the exact same iTunes Libraries anyway.
