Hello, I have a 6s, and that will run iOS 11 just fine as it's newer than the 5s which is eligible but will no doubt run slow and will certainly not have all the features and capabilities iOS 11 has to offer. I also have iPad Mini 2, which is also eligible for iOS 11, but will certainly have the same limits as the 5s.
