Hi list, My family is very happily sharing HomeKit. I'm the admin, but we all have full access to the outlets, lock, and thermostat, and room sensor that comprise our growing smart home. The only problem is that Apple seems to have made an odd decision: we all also share favorites.
If I move some favorites around, or add or remove a device from my favorites, this change is push to everyone else. Similarly, changes they make appear on my devices. What I want to do is separate this, so we can each have our own favorite setups. I don't care about some of our devices that others do, and vice versa. Does anyone know if there's a way we can keep sharing access, but stop sharing favorites setups? Thanks in advance.
