Textedit can also act as a WYSIWYG editor for HTML files, you don't have to be a HTML guru.
TextWrangler and(which I understand is being phased out) and its big brother BBEdit are not usable by VoiceOver users. I can forward my reply from support if you want to see it, but right now their text widgets are incompatible with VoiceOver.
