I have no idea if this makes a difference or not, but I always allow the app to track me. It just makes my life easier and so nice whne I go into to do something it knows the address of where I’m going to be picked up from or where I’m going to. I would think this might be under tha app settings and worth while taking a look at.
I’d also make sure notifications are allowed from it as well. Then too it could be there isn’t service where you live and that would account for a difference of only a few miles. Maybe you could check Uber.com to see if there is a contact link or email and send them a question asking about the issues you’re having.
