Hi Chris,

I suppose the transfers to iPhone are via your WiFi network.  There is  
an iPhone app called GoodReader for PDF reading (not entirely  
accessible for reading PDF files since some PDF books I transferred  
won't read at all) that supported USB transfer to the iPhone or iPod  
Touch via the sync cable through a desktop helper app, and Apple made  
them remove that feature.  So the present version (since end of  
November) only supports WiFi transfer.
