I first played with that app, I seemed to figure it out enough to use it. But
the last time, or so, I either didn’t know if things changed or I forgot how
and I was disappointed. But I’ll tell you about another app I think I would
recommend more as it describes more specific colors and shapes. It’s called
Eye Music, that’s e,y,e, music. You’re trained to understand which of a few
musical instruments represent what color. You can learn one color at a time,
and you listen to shapes based on the pitch and other nuances of each
instrument’ sounds. Once you thoroughly get the hang of it, you’re supposed to
be able to identify the blend of colored more complicated shapes, and you can
use it to take photos or real-time video of objects in your environment, kind
of like Voice Vision does. they claim that a woman, blind from birth, was able
to pick out a red apple for the first time in her life. As far as I know, it’s
free, so there's nothing to lose by trying it. The only drawback I know is
that the conversion of video or photographs to that audio is slower than Voice
vision. Otherwise I like it so far. You should be able to find it on:
