So unlike the other speeches for responses I’ll actually answer your question.
Seeing Eye GPS has the ability to set points of interest. That might be a good
way to go so you can mark specific areas you’re interested in.
Next, there’s an accessible compass built in, you might try that option
to get basic direction.
Around me is a free application that tells you what’s located around
you.
Apple Maps is also pretty feature packed but I think the ability to set
POIs would be what you’re looking for.
