So I’ve done some reading and am not finding much. I’m wondering what people
are using for a work flow here. Say I’m connected to my iPhone and I want to
connect to my Mac, is the only way to do this to use the bluetooth menu and
select connect under the AirPods tree? How about connecting back to the phone
is there an easier method than going to settings, bluetooth and double tapping
AirPods? I read something about the control center but I can’t find the
control.
Here’s another question, suppose I’m on the Mac paired and my phone
rings, how do I get the phone to easily connect directly to the pods? Should I
just use FaceTime and handle the call over WiFi? The lack of meaningful
multipoint support is less than optimal. What do you think any suggestions for
optimizing my experience? And I’ll be damned if I can’t figure out how to get
the pods to work with the watch. I’ve tried the power cycling and was going to
try a full reset and initial pair again but that seems excessive. Any
suggestions would be appreciated. I love the audio and the use of the pods
with the censors and detection of things automatically is really something. I
love the charging case as well. I just don’t get the lack of multipoint
support. I wonder if multipoint like APTX is property of Qualcomm. That in
itself may explain things, I know it explains the lack of APTX at least from
what I’ve read. I have not tried enabling apex personally.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
