I keep getting the message “iPhone backup failed, no room in I/Cloud for this backup.”, or something like that. I found the culprit in the photos app. It keeps deleted items in a “recently deleted” folder for a month or so and after deleting several test videos, this folder grew to over 8GB. My iCloud storage is only 5gb. My question is this, how can I set up my camera/photo library to not keep deleted items? I’ve looked in the Photos app and the settings app for Photos and can’t find any settings that will allow me to correct this problem of keeping deleted items.. I could upgrade iCloud storage plan for a pittance, but I don’t want to on principle.
