Hi all, just installed High Sierra. I have noticed on my iMac purchased August 2012 how snappy it is. I notice this when arrowing down a list of messages in Mail and generally throughout the whole system. I did have a minor concern when installing the update. Everything went well and I logged in and started using the Mac. I did find speech a little sluggish so decided to restart the Mac. Well nothing happen for a time. VO did nothing when I used CMD + F5 to start it. After about 20 minutes I asked my sited wife to take a look. She said there was a bar slowly moving across the screen. Obviously it was doing something,. After another few minutes she said the bar had stopped. So we thought all would be good. Nothing happened for another half an hour so I held the power button to shut the Mac down. I then turned on the Mac again and all went as it should. If I did not have a sited wife I don’t know what I would of done. I write this only incase somebody else comes across this. Max.
