Hi all,

I can’t remember if it was on this list, but sometime last year I asked how to
completely wipe my Time Machine folder from my external drive without
completely reformatting that drive.

Someone responded and told me to use a terminal command to just completely wipe
the folder and bypass Mac’s security checks and all that. Problem solved,
folder deleted. Did I want to bypass the security? No, but deleting backups
remains inaccessible and reformatting that external drive was not an option.
Now, however, after reformatting my Mac on Friday, I’m supposed to have 2 TB of
data. I’m not sure if having a Fusion Drive matters, but I ended up with 855 GB
after setup. How is this possible, and more importantly, how can I get it back?
Boot Camp Assistant can’t make a partition to boot Windows now… Thought it was
supposed to divide the partitions in half and split Mac and Windows, but I
guess in High Sierra we have to manually resize. That’s fine, but I really want
Windows back.

Any help would be appreciated, not even Apple Care knows what’s up.
