Hi all, but especially AirPods users,
Some time ago there was a discussion on the list about audio switching with
AirPods. If you had them connected to a phone and a watch, for instance, they
would play audio from the phone but would switch to playing watch audio when
the watch made a sound. If my understanding is right, this is working in iOS 11
and watchOS 4. If I have all this right, I have some questions. If not, can
someone explain what does happen with these three devices? Thanks.

* When the watch plays a notification or other small sound, does it go through
the AirPods, or is it only VO speech and music that does? If the former,
doesn't it get annoying to have VO or media interrupted for a sound, given that
the watch is supposed to help your devices be less interrupting?

* Does this work on other devices? Would it work on Apple TV or a Mac?

* Is there a way to turn the feature off?

Thanks for any responses. The more I think about it, this kind of switching
would be quite convenient in a lot of situations. I just worry about
notification sounds interrupting my iPhone's audio.
