Jean,
Step by step. Open the phone app. Open Recents. Locate the offending
entry. Swipe to More and open it. Single tap Favorites to put focus on
it, do not open Favorites. Swipe left one time. That should land you on
the Block button that is in the More screen.
A lot of work and I do not bother with it myself. Perhaps 1 out of
hundreds will use the same number to annoy you. If the caller is not in
my contacts, I just do not pick up and if my phone is within reach, I
press the sleep/wake button twice to send them straight to voice mail.
Only once out of hundreds has a scamnmer even left a voice mail.
