Hi,

I've been thinking about installing Windows on my Mac Book Pro via Boot camp.

Question:

Which key on the MBP keyboard will be the Windows key in Boot camp?

I really like the new Narrator but it requires extensive use of the Windows
Key, I believe.

Thanks much,

Mark

Subject: RE: Any advantages to using bootcamp over Fusion for windows?

Good points

Windows is always there and uses full system resources available to it via the
installation.

Bad points,
You can't flick between the 2 operating systems at the same time as it's not a
vm running windows within the mac OS system .

As for installer of boot camp,
Yeah it works great up to the point where the mac os / bootcamp restarts the
machine into the windows installation setup..

The bootcamp installation process works well with voiceover and so long as you
have the windows installers in an ISO file and a minimum 16GB usb it will
download the apple drivers and windows installation setup and install it all
from the USB once things are up and working.

Bad point is that once the mac restarts into the windows installation there
is no screen reader available to you as there is no audio device installed or
working within the windows partition.

 Still it's my preferred option.

Subject: Any advantages to using bootcamp over Fusion for windows?

hey all,
Fusion the new version 10 and i are having shall we say some relationship
difficulties and i was wondering if there are any advantages to using bootcamp?
I can see a couple of disadvantages but would be happy to be corrected.
i will not be able to seamlessly switch from the mac OS to windows but with the
latest version of Fusion the keyboard is not disengaging from windows.
The second problem I see is with Windows installation, does bootcamp have a
similar feature to fusion's easy install where you put in your chosen
parameters and sit back?
any help would be great.
