I'm not E.T. but try these. * Navigate to the word in question, or filename, or whatever it is, and press vo-w twice quickly to spell what's under the VO cursor. * Navigate to what you want to spell, interact with it, and use vo-shift-right (add the cmd key on macOS 10.13 and later) to move by character. * Use vo-cmd-right to get to characters, then vo-cmd-down to move by character. This requires 10.13 or later. * Get VO to say what you want spelled, hit vo-shift-c to copy the words, then paste them somewhere you can review them, like a text file or Pages document.
