Hello Everyone,

Okay, I'm just going to put this out there, in case someone has determined
the solution.

So, In both El Capitan and Sierra, I created a VoiceOver Activity that would
switch from my default system voice, Alex, to my beloved Samantha TTS. I
did this by simply pointing the activity to the Notification Center app,
located in HD/System/Library/CoreServices, where HD equals the hard drive.

Now, as far as this goes, it still works in High Sierra with one caveat.
Unlike in previous versions of Mac OS, even though the Notification Center
now triggers Samantha, iMessage pop-ups, continue to use Alex.

Even if I set the actual iMessage app, itself to Samantha, iMessage pop-ups,
which occur outside the app, say, for example, when the app is closed and
I'm in Safari, continue to use Alex. UGGG!

I have experimented with several of the apps located in the Core Services
folder including User Notification, System Events, etc, but nothing I try,
seems to work.

Any ideas?

All replies greatly appreciated.

Mark
