Also the phone bleeps when you do set up Face ID and Voice over tells you when you are looking straight in to the centre. There is a bright light on it too which I can see with my good eye.
Also, set up Face ID when you have set up the phone so skip it when you are setting up the phone as Tension may be on, but it didn't work for me as I didn't know in the first place how to hold the phone. I found that out by accident around four a.m. in the morning without really thinking about it. I had been waving my phone around furiously first when sitting in bed and after doing that for a few minutes I decided to put the phone out in front of me at arms length and it started happening. So now it's all done as I did it twice in a space of a couple of days to make sure I could do it once I got the hang of it. My tip is (please don't laugh) when you are standing you can hold the phone just above your stomach with the screen facing you and it just unlocks just like that. I can't figure it out how to do it when I'm lying down in bed as it's not unlocking for me yet. But if I sand up or am walking around and I want to unlock my phone it's needs to be slightly away from my stomach with my arm sticking out! One question is if you do need to use Touch ID to buy stuff from Amazon or other things it says use Touch ID. So how are we going to use Face ID if it says use Touch ID instead? Where on the phone would we initiate Face ID as the apps may expect us to use the home button which is not on the I phone 10. Before I sign off, for the first time I used Apple Pay on my watch to to buy my shopping! I was excited when I heard the reaer bleep. Kawal. P.s. Do I love Apple products when they all work together and especially when I can put my watch against a reader in a shop to do Apple Pay! Might as well ditch a card but we need them. > On 26 Nov 2017, at 18:43, Donna Goodin <[email protected]> wrote: > > It really does, Ray.
