Hi David, I’m not sure if it’s worked but I setup an alias to my main mail address Then wiped an iPod and reset it up using the country I want the apple id in, Not sure if it’s worked but hey we’ll see what happens.

Do not select a credit card. This account can be used to download free apps. I have a US, NZ, and AUS accounts. Note that if one purchases iTunes cards on an account, it is not possible to change countries for said account until the iTunes funds are completely used.
