Your NVDA key can be caps lock, which I've come to prefer even on desktop 
keyboards. I believe that's in either general or keyboard settings for NVDA.

Applications I'm not as sure of, but I know people often recommend a program 
called Sharp Keys. I don't have a link handy, but a search engine should find 
it for you. Using this program, you can re-assign keys at will. For instance, 
for when I don't have a full keyboard handy and need to run Windows virtually 
on my own Mac, I use the accent key as the NVDA modifier. I do this since 
VMWare can't get the caps lock key, but as you're using Bootcamp, this won't be 
a concern.
