I have had my iPhone x now for a week, and I have to say, I haven’t encountered the issues the original poster had mentioned. I have had no issues with the new gestures but occasionally I have issues with the face ID not seeing my face, but even so, the process is still reliable enough for me to use full time and come to enjoy it.
