The answer to your question is, yes. Absolutely, the rewards program is valid in any Starbucks, stand-alone, or inside a store. Be that as it may, it's a good idea to confirm before purchasing as the general disclaimer always includes the words, "valid at participating locations." I've never been to a location that was not participating but there must be one or two, here and there, that do not participate.
