Hello Everyone,

Well, today I went over to Best Buy and purchased an Amazon Echo Plus. Of
course, I got the black-on-black-on-black, model. (smile).

I must say that this device is a blast.

The iOS Alexa app was a breeze to configure and I was up and running in a
matter of minutes.

Thanks to all of you who replied to my free music iOS app question.

>From the App Store, I downloaded and created both a free Pandora and iHeart
Radio account. From within the iOS Alexa app, I linked these two accounts
to my Echo and wow! They work marvelously well. I have exactly what I want
with amazing voice control over both. Alexa is truly incredible. I love
the fact that I can create custom radio stations with my voice, only, via my
Echo as the iOS app is not needed.

As I stated in my previous post, I have decided to use HomePod for personal
contacts, tasks, reminders, etc. but, at this time, I'll be using Alexa for
fun and random music playback, while using HomePod to play my own personal
music collection.

Would you believe it? After demonstrating my new Echo Plus to some friends
who had never seen Alexa in action, we went to Best Buy and each of them
purchased an Echo Dot. I setup three Dots, today. So that's 4 Echoes I
worked with in one day. (big Smile). I'm definitely on my way to becoming
an Echo guru!!! (Big Smile).

How wonderful it is that we have such a marvelously accessible platform
such as iOS from which to explore so many new and wonderful devices. Long
live Apple Inc and its incredible developers. Also, kudos to the Amazon
Alexa development team, as well.

Mark
