It all depends on what you’re looking for and interested in. I primarily got the Apple TV so I could watch the TV/movie selections I get with Amazon Prime. If you are signed up with an Amazon Prime membership, then get the app and get the one for your Iphone too. Thus far I like it a lot and am still learning how the Apple TV works.
