Hi, Even with the USB C connection, you'll need to be very careful. It may not actually hurt the Mac, but the charging block will likely overheat and could cause problems. Most cell charging blocks are 10 to 15 watt chargers, whereas the laptop ones are anywhere from 45 to 85 watts or so. Using even a 15 watt charger to charge something that usually requires 45 wats will cause the low wattage charging block to overheat and burn out. Depending on the safeties within the block, this could cause other issues as well.
