To my knowledge, smartphones and buttons simply don't go together anymore. 
Physical buttons mean no touch screen, or at least a restricted one, which 
means neither iOS nor Android will run on such a phone.

What you might consider is keeping an iPhone, or cellular iPad, for the access 
and ecosystem you already have. Then, get a simple phone for actual calls. With 
iMessages, you could still text on your iOS device, albeit without SMS 
messaging, so all you'd lose would be VoiceOver's telling you about call 
history and contacts. Just a thought.
