Hi all,
A few days ago, there was a thread on this list about VO constantly saying
"Voiceover settings activity" to the point where macOS was becoming frustrating
to use. A suggestion was made to stop using portable preferences. I'm not sure
how the original poster got on, but I tried that suggestion this morning. I
stopped using portable preferences, and configured VO from scratch. So far,
I've not had a single instance of a problem that used to happen once every few
minutes. If you find this problem, try not using portable preferences. It
worked for me. Thanks again to the person who suggested it. That prefs disk
image has lived in my iCloud Drive or Dropbox so long, I'd almost forgotten I
was running on it.
