Hi,

Is the Extreme the first device in the network? If so, is it one of the newer
tall AC Extremes? It should be able to handle that just fine. I have
something similar, where I have the Extreme as the first device, then another
Extreme for the back end of the house and the yard, and two Airport Express
units for AirPlay to audio units. I have multiple Apple TVs and multiple
computers, tablets and iPhones all connecting as well without issues. You may
need to connect to Airport Utility and see what kind of signal you're getting
between devices. Note that the wireless connection is just to the main device,
not to each other. That is, each of your secondary devices connect to the
primary device in the network. If the primary device is just an Express, it
may not handle the load particularly well. When connecting to the primary
device with the Airport Utility, using Airport Utility on your Mac, connect
using the Connect to Other from the File menu instead of the regular way. When
you do it this way, you can get more detailed information in the wireless
connections table. You can see the signal strength and connection speed
between each device and the primary one which could give you an idea if one of
them is at its limits for a good connection.

Beyond that, you could also check if there is another WiFi network close by
that is possibly creating some interference with your network. The Mac will
handle the connection better due to the wireless card within the Mac being more
powerful than those in smaller devices.

Hi!
This is so frustrating and i can’t really figure out why its happening.
I have two ipad mini and both of them seem to have problems with my wifi.
Also my Iphone has problems with it.
THe internet connection fails while for example listening to radio and i have
to turn off and on wifi to get things going again.
All my ios devices run Ios 11 except my Ipod touch which only runs ios 9 and
the ipod seems to be fine.
My mac and my linux pc have no problems with the internet so i can not
understand why wifi should be problematic on the ios 11 devices i have.
I have one Ipad mini 2 and one mini 4.
Also i have an Iphone SE.
The wifi network i have is connected with an ethernet cable to the Cable modem.
SO i have 3 airport devices which includes the whole wifi network.
I have the airport extreme connected via ethernet to the modem and the airport
devices connects wirelessly to eachother.
I am so frustrated i don’t know what to do.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
