Hi. The basic problem is that, for whatever reason, this action doesn't use the system voice, and therefore it uses the default speed, which is awful.
The solution *I* came up with was to write my own service, and use the terminal say command to create the track. But then, as I've often said before, I'm a scripting fool <grin>.
